Kolam is the fruit of the meeting of two people, Aurélien Dahan and Lise Hoffmann, both actively committed to the respect of human values and the preservation of the planet.

Following the creation of “Page d'Ecriture” in 2002, an association focusing on international solidarity active in Southern India, Aurélien Dahan had the desire and the drive to go further and enter the textile industry.

On her side, Lise Hoffmann, having just finished training as a designer, had but one dream: create fashion that respected both mankind and the planet.

Through their meeting in 2005 was born Kolam, a fashion brand that is ecologically responsible and that perpetuates environmental and social values of sustainable development.

In 2007, we wanted to go even further which led us to our new ecological policy:

Kolam would become the first carbon neutral fashion brand since its creation.

Our goal : create fashion that is open to all on the sole condition that this fashion takes into account the respect of workers and the environment.

And we have indeed succeeded!
